We decided that we’d move on today to bring us back to Hurleston which is about 2 miles, or 40 minutes, out of Nantwich. Not as much space for mooring here as there was on the last occasion since two of the moorings are taken up with CRT workboats. Sensibly they could have tied the two boats alongside one another and only taken up one mooring but it seems to be a thing to leave workboats on lock moorings.

Tomorrow we’ll be back in Nantwich since we now have two cassettes to empty and a water tank that needs filling, we managed to drop off the rubbish at Barbridge when we came through since there is a CRT waste bin there.
