York

Here I am Rune
Distance 10.5 miles
Total 2796 Locks  130 Tunnels
Running total mileage 3892.2 miles

Today’s trip down the Ouse has brought us back into the centre of York, a very pleasant mooring opposite The Lowther pub where a webcam enables you to see the state of the river  https://www.farsondigitalwatercams.com/locations/york

We are moored just off the image to the left behind the rather large barge you can see the front of. The only problem with this mooring is that the crew can’t get off the boat since we are alongside an old, and quite high, wharf. The plan at the moment is to remain here tonight and then go back to the moorings above Lendal Bridge to see if any vacancies have occurred sometime tomorrow morning. We hope to stay until Wednesday before heading back to Naburn to go back down to Selby.
