Not much in the way of distance today, but otherwise quite busy with 6 locks and a tunnel. Given what the weather forecast is for tomorrow we will probably stay where we are and move on Sunday when the forecast is better.

Whilst coming through Braunston tunnel I’ve once again tried to get a photo of the noticeable ‘kink’ in it but haven’t really picked it up that well in the photo. At one point in the tunnel, because of how much you have to turn, the exit portal in the distance goes out of sight, that is how much of a kink there is. Meeting another boat at the kink is not to be recommended but today we met no other boats at all in the tunnel. The only other boat we met was halfway up the lock flight which had the advantage that one we had passed them coming down all of the locks ahead were then set in our favour.
