Having ‘holed up’ for the day yesterday whilst the rain
passed through we are back on the move again today, although not far in mileage
but a few locks. The Aylesbury arm so far seems very peaceful and rural,
although we have moored near to some stables with two rather raucous Peacocks
wandering around.
We still have about 4 miles to go to Aylesbury and 6 locks
but, weather permitting, should be there OK by tomorrow. Not sure yet whether
we’ll stay for the weekend or not.
