As stated yesterday, today was decreed to be a day of rest,
well about as much rest as you get doing four loads of washing and cutting up
another bagful of free kindling at Engine Arm. The only real rest was the fact
that the boat didn’t move.
Tomorrow it will probably be onto just about the only part
of the BCN that we haven’t been on, the Titford Canal down to Titford Pools.
This will once again involve six locks, I just hope that on this occasion we
don’t find the pounds half empty like the one’s coming up Ryders Green were.
Looking at the map it could be a bit of a noisy mooring on the Titford Canal
since quite a lot of it seems to be in the shadow of the M5 motorway, we’ll
have to see when we get there.
