A day for getting the ‘domsticky’ stuff done so we haven’t travelled far, only just over 3 miles and 6 locks. Stopped off at Greenforge Lock to empty the Elsan, fill the water tank, get rid of the rubbish and give the boat a much needed wash. After that list we couldn’t be bothered with travelling far. Here at Womborne it is convenient for a Sainsbury’s for tomorrow’s weekend shop, so it seemed a reasonable overnight stop. Tried to moor up before we got into Womborne but, although there was Armco embankment, the water depth wasn’t sufficient to get in alongside so we’ve moored on the CRT moorings by the Womborne Bridge.

How far we get tomorrow depends upon what time we finish doing the weekend shop.
