All things went well today and we are now moored behind
Brindley Place in the centre of Birmingham. The weather was slightly chilly but
otherwise a good Spring day with the added bonus that the sun was behind me so
I wasn’t being blinded travelling into it.
It seems a bit excessive to be able to describe the day as a
three tunnel day, since none of them were particularly long, the longest being
Brantwood at 350 yards, but the other two, Edgebaston (105 yards) and Broad
Street (83 yards allegedly) were not much more than long bridges!
I think we will probably be here over the weekend and then
make a trip down Farmers Locks to the area of Birmingham that we missed last
time we were here.
