After a couple of standstill days at Hinckley, today we have
move on back to Bedworth. Heavy overnight rain suggested that we may be staying
moored at Hinckley for another day but it brightened up later in the morning
and, since it is only a couple of hour trip to here we made the move.
A boat that had been submerged above bridge 4 on our way up
the Ashby Canal has been removed so it was a clear run back down again. The
forecast for tomorrow isn’t particularly good so we may well remain here until
Thursday but the will be the limit since we will be getting short of water by
then and need to get to Hawkesbury Junction to top up the tank.
