Travelled a bit further than either needed to or intended to today, but once we got to the top of Tyrley Locks, all of the moorings were taken so we have pressed onto Cheswardine which is the next available mooring once you’ve got through Woodseaves Cutting. Passed another boat from Hawne Basin in the cutting, he is heading to Chester but intending to be back in the basin by 6^th June for the Open Day.

Since we are further on than anticipated (by about 2 miles or 40 minutes) we should reach Norbury Junction comfortably tomorrow.
