The weather was slightly cooler today (but only slightly!)
with a few hours of cloud cover but still good enough to enjoy the cruising on
the Lea Navigation. We have now made it as far as Broxbourne and tomorrow we
should reach the split in the navigation where the Lea goes off to Hertford and
the Stort heads off towards Harlow, Sawbridgeworth and Bishop Stortford.
Have made contact with one of my First cousins, once
removed, to arrange for a meeting and pub lunch somewhere. The current plan
will be for it to be in Bishop Stortford but that remains flexible.
Current plan for tomorrow will be to reach Harlow if
possible.
