We came a bit further today than originally planned, but since we are ruled by the weather a bit, it seemed necessary. The original plan was to moor at the bottom of the Grindley Brook flight of locks and then come up through them tomorrow morning. The forecast for tomorrow is pretty dire with strong winds, cold temperatures and possible snow. In light of that we have come up as far as Whitchurch where we can get the weekend shopping and not have to move until this current storm has passed through.
