Today we have moved on a bit towards Chester, not too far since we are in no real hurry. The plan is to go up to Chester until the Llangollen Canal winter closures are over and then take a spring trip up there. Since the closures don’t finish until 16th March, we have a bit of time to kill.

We’ve only come as far as Tarporley and made a fairly early stop which has given us the opportunity to bake some bread, otherwise we will run out tomorrow.

 Interesting to have this chap with his harem eyeing up the boat from a nearby hillside!
