Something of a slow day today, but that is to be expected on this bit of canal where it is narrow, quite shallow and you are pushing against the current that is feeding the canal from Horseshoe Falls above Llangollen. The end result however is that we have plugged on up to Llangollen and are now moored and connected up to the electric in the marina at the end. When we turn around to go back it should be slightly easier since we will then be travelling with the current.

The passage across Pontcysyllte Aqueduct was the experience that it always is, particularly for someone like me who is not keen on heights, floating across the valley 40 metres in the air is, to say the least, interesting.

We have only paid for one night here in the marina (£6) so we will be heading back towards Trevor tomorrow, and another passage across the aqueduct.
