So having made fullest use of the electric hook-up in Llangollen marina we have retraced out steps back to the mooring that we stayed at before heading up to Llangollen. Looking at the map it is probably more accurate to call this mooring Froncysyllte rather than Chirk although it is somewhere between the two.

The advantage of mooring here is that CRT have cut down a tree at this location and the resultant firewood is free for those who wish to avail themselves of it, so we have picked up a bit to augment our coal supply.

I need to do the weekend shop tomorrow before we move off since it will be too late to do so if/when we reach Ellesmere, so it will probably mean a late start off tomorrow.
