Back to Peterborough and I’ve now booked the passage through Stanground Lock for midday tomorrow. I’m guessing that the direct passage across the levels will take a couple of days or so, I’m expecting to reach Salter’s lode lock either Thursday or Friday. I am aiming to go straight across the levels on the outward journey but to do a bit more exploring on the way back.
