Instead of reaching Peterborough, we have stopped about 3 miles out on Overton Lake which seems a pleasant location. I suspect that the boat we seemed to be shadowing has either gone to the mooring at Orton Lock, or continued into Peterborough. Since there are limited moorings at Orton Lock and we decided we didn’t want to go into Peterborough until Friday, Overton Lake seemed the best option.
The weather held up well for our trip, forecast was for rain but again it pretty much held off until we were moored up for lunch (and for the rest of the day).
