With a fairly light wind we got off the mooring pretty easily and cruised the relatively short distance to the outskirts of Pershore where we have moored for the night by the picnic area at Pershore bridges. It is funny that as we cruise along we have been meeting hardly any other boaters on the move but as soon as you get to a lock, a whole load tend to appear out of nowhere.

The photo below at Nafford Lock tends to illustrate what can happen if things go wrong, I don’t know the story of how the boat got there, and I have no idea of how, or even if they can recover it.

I’m not sure of the plans for tomorrow yet, whether to check out Pershore or move on towards Evesham.
