Although the ‘plan’ was to go and moor in Kidderminster, when we looked at where the next winding hole was, it is best part of the way to Stourport on Severn, so we amended the plan, turned in the winding hole north of Kidderminster and then went back to Wolverley. Still had to go into Kidderminster for a few bits from the shops, but got the bike out instead of mooring there.

It was another pleasant autumnal cruise and made better by the fact that mostly when we met other boats, it was in locks coming up towards us, so halving the work. The only notable exception was meeting one on a bridge by a corner which required a bit of hard astern to stop, which seemed to miff a couple of fishermen who then packed up and left.

Tomorrow back through Kinver, calling at the service point before hopefully a pleasant countryside overnight mooring somewhere.
