Decided to sit out Wednesday due to poor weather forecast and have now moved down to Stourbridge today in what seemed a fairly easy cruise, although despite the weather being good, we haven’t passed another moving boat all day. Without particularly rushing we got down the Stourbridge lock flight of 16 locks in about 2 hrs and 50 minutes, so just over 10 minutes per lock. They were mostly (just over 50%0 set against us but provided you work a ‘system’ whereby one goes on to set the next lock, it doesn’t really slow you down much.

Not sure of future plans yet, we’ll be here for tomorrow to get the shopping in, after that? Not sure.
