Now that CRT are re-opening the lock flights that have been closed due to the lack of rain (Brades, Wolverhampton, Ryders Green, etc) we have made the ‘bold’ decision to go down some lock, the first one’s we have done since June. Despite all locks being set against us, we did the Delph flight in about an hour and a half which seemed quite quick. Particularly as we weren’t rushing.
We have moored again in the Fens Arm above the Strourbridge Flight and will probably, given the current weather forecast for tomorrow, stay here until Thursday before going down into Stourbridge for the weekend shop.
