Well, we made it to Wheelock but it seemed a long day’s work, about five and a half hours and a shedload of locks. We have now crossed the border between Staffordshire and Cheshire, so we are properly in the ‘North’ now. The plan will be to get to Middlewich tomorrow, half way along the Middlewich are on Tuesday and probably into Nantwich by Wednesday. I seem to recall they have a leisure centre there so it may be the opportunity for another swim.
