A short hop into Peterborough for the weekend will do for us. We were booked in for the 11.00am locking at Stanground but turned up at about 10.45am so a little bit early, but no problem.

We will be doing the weekend shop tomorrow and then probably head on, on Sunday. At this end of the Nene it is a bit problematic since moorings are few and far between, even the Friends of the Nene moorings. I think the current plan is to go for the moorings at Orton Lake then onto the Stibbington moorings, then take it from there. I will be either a case of mooring at Fotheringay or pressing on towards Oundle. I suspect we’ll be stopping at Fotheringhay.
