In slightly cooler weather we have locked down the Atherton flight and are now moored about 1 mile east of Polesworth. Although there were a number of boat going down the flight ahead of us it all went reasonably well and we weren’t delayed very much. It was also assisted by the fact that a team of volunteer lock keepers were working the locks which kept things moving quite well.

Tomorrow once again we’ll be back at Fazeley.
