On what must be one of the best days for a river cruise we have travelled from Stourport on Severn down here to the Droitwich canal. There was pretty much no wind (until we had to execute the turn into the Droitwich Canal!) and it was hot sun most of the way, absolutely ideal.
The only downside was that we were a bit late setting off, not entering the Stourport staircase lock until midday which meant it was getting on for 4pm before we got here, but an enjoyable day nonetheless.
Tomorrow on through Droitwich and starting up the Birmingham and Worcester Canal towards Tardebigge.
