Today was hot. We were intending to go further up the Worcester and Birmingham towards Hanbury Junction but after we has stopped for lunch we decided not to get started again since the afternoon was forecast to be even warmer, and it was. As we currently have plenty of time in hand to get to where we are going there is no real rush, and working a series of locks in very hot weather is a bit unnecessary when you can just be sitting in the shade enjoying the weather. We’ll see how much further we get tomorrow (also forecast to be hot).
