Another day of locking, although not quite so tiring today as we were travelling with another boat through the locks which sort of halves the work that we need to do. Quite a few other boats on the move today as well, passing a pair from Hawne Basin, Enchanted Moon/Glass Barge at the top of Bascote staircase lock. They said they were slowly heading back towards the basin. We stopped today just short of having to go up the Stockton Flight of locks, leaving that particular pleasure until tomorrow.
I’m guessing that we’ll get to somewhere about Napton by tomorrow night.
