After a pleasant stay on Hest Bank, with our sea view, we have now taken a short hop back to Lancaster where we will probably stay for another couple of days before heading off down towards Glasson Basin. Since it was only a short day’s cruise I had time, when we’d moored up, to then go swimming at Salt Ayre pool here in Lancaster. It seemed quite a while since my last swim (back at the beginning of April) but I felt a whole lot better for a decent swim, although the water was a bit warm.

Not sure what the plans are for tomorrow, whether to head off up to the Lake District for a day, or take a day out in Kendal.
