Not much to say about today’s trip, just a simple trip back down to Rufford to stay the night before going into the marina. Once the rain had stopped we had a trip around Rufford Old Hall which is alongside the canal here, in interesting 16^th century building owned by the Hesketh family but given to the National Trust in 1936.

We’ve take a trip back to Tarleton since we needed to make use of the sanitary station at Spark Bridge and this was the first place where we could wind (turn around). Since we are just wandering around this area for the moment, we decided to stay here and head back towards Rufford again tomorrow. We’ll then be going into the marina on Wednesday for a period.

Only a short trip today to take us as far as Rufford. I have an appointment in Liverpool tomorrow and the railway station here is very convenient for the trip so we’ll stay here for a bit. We may have plans for other activities to take place so, at the moment, I’m not sure how long we’ll be staying here.
