The forecasted rain put paid to the idea of getting to Kingswood Junction today, so we have settled for what I’ll call Lowsonford as that seems to be the nearest village to us, although still a little way off. Having seen the weather forecasted to turn to rain at lunchtime we decided to just get through Preston Bagot and Claverdon Locks and then call it a day. 

Although there are a dozen locks between here and Kingswood Junction, I would hope that we can get there comfortably tomorrow, particularly since fine weather is forecast.
