Having done all that we needed in Warwick, including a 2 kilometre swim and 8 mile walk, we have now moved back to Kingswood Junction en route to Birmingham. I would envisage being at Hockley Heath tomorrow and central Birmingham by about Wednesday. The trip today was uneventful other than the usual shower going through Shrewley Tunnel, it’s amazing just how much water is coming in through the roof of that tunnel which I could understand if there was a reservoir or river flowing over the top, but there isn’t. It has obviously been like that for a long time since the lime on the walls has built up quite a lot, it looks impressive but doesn’t photograph well.
