Despite the light rain during the morning, we have headed on towards Hatton since we needed to get the weekend shopping. It didn’t rain as badly as forecast in fact the heaviest ‘shower’ on the way was passing through Shrewley Tunnel!

As I travelled down into Warwick I noted that there were quite a few boats working the Hatton flight, the one who started on the flight at 3.15pm came past us at 6.00pm which is a reasonably good time to complete it.

We will probably stay here for a day or two, given the relative accessibility of Warwick, before heading off on a slow trip towards Birmingham.
