We got as far as we needed to, above the delightfully named ‘Boggs Lock’ which is just 2 locks and about half a kilometre from Gailey where we’ll be getting the heating serviced. We have been alongside the very loud M6 motorway for a while now but fortunately this mooring is far enough away from it for it not to give any real disturbance.
Tomorrow’s run will be a very short one, just to Gailey, get the service done and then moor up again.
