Today’s trip barely justifies recording, a mere 0.6 miles!
The intention had been to go a bit further but due to late rising (9.45am) we
were a bit behind throughout the day. We have managed to get the weekend
shopping, topped up with water and re-stocked with coal but after all that we
are only half a mile further along the canal since yesterday.
The intention for tomorrow will be a greater distance but
that could be undermined by the weather forecast, which isn’t good. At the very
least however we will need to get to Calcutt to refuel, once that is done the
major tasks will be complete until after Christmas.
