Today’s was just a short trip to Great Haywood Junction to replenish the water tank and get rid of the rubbish before heading back towards Birmingham. Even though we left the mooring at about 11am, it had been taken before we returned since Tixall wide is now rammed with boats. Consequently we had to go beyond the wide to find a mooring.
Tomorrow the aim will be to get back to somewhere around Acton Trussell
