As planned we have reached the outskirts of Stafford and, having arrived here reasonably early, got the weekend shopping done so tomorrow we are able to continue straight after breakfast. Not that we are going too far tomorrow since I only intend to go as far as Tixall wide and see if we can find a mooring there to see us until Sunday. Since we are comfortably on our schedule we can afford a few ‘rest’ days now since, if absolutely necessary, we could probably get to the marina in a couple of days.
