We are back to what has become something of our regular mooring in Middlewich, between bridges 29 an 30. The weather today was brilliant, bright sunshine most of the way, to the degree that I had to dig out my sun-hat  since I was otherwise being dazzled.

With the forecast for today being fairly good we have taken the opportunity of letting the fire go out so that we can give the chimney a sweep, the forecast over the next few days would suggest that letting the fire go out then wouldn’t be such a good idea.

I’m not sure how long we’ll remain here, but certainly long enough to get the week-end shopping in.
