What was suggested on the last posting that I’d be spending a few days recuperation at the last mooring turned into a couple of week stay, although not all of that was on the boat. We took the opportunity whilst at a fairly secure mooring, to go for a short walking holiday along the Cleveland Way. During the week away we completed the section from Filey to Saltburn (about 50 miles). Second half to be completed at a later date.

Today’s move was really just to comply with our licence requirements not to stay in a single place for more than 14 days, which would have been up tomorrow had we stayed. We have come through Warwick and Leamington Spa to Radford Semele where we will again be staying for a few days as we still need to remain in the Warwick/Leamington Spa area until about the middle of the month before we head off towards Market Harborough to get the boat blacked. It was a largely uneventful trip, although it is noticeable that there are now more boats on the move as we get towards Easter.
